A fine antique American Colt Model 1851 Third Model Navy 6 shot percussion revolver. Caliber .36, 7,5 inch barrel with New York Address. In near mint condition.


All of it's original bleu finish still present, excellent and fine cylinder scene. All of it's Silver plating on triggerguard and backstrap with fine laquerd Walnut grip. All matching numbers, SN 39238. Came almost certainly of the shipping of Colt's to the Russian Goverment concealed in bales of cotton and were intercepted by German Customs in 1855. Later sold to German goverment and 900 were subsequently issued by the German Kriegsmarine and some were sold privatly to KM officers
