On the left side of frame ADAMS 1856 PATENT and W. Tranter patent, on the right side: Adams Patent 16480, Crown over PS for P.Stevens and Crown over AF for Auguste Francotte. Signed on frame at grip A. Francotte a Liege. On the cylinder the Liege ELG proof mark and Crown over AF. Fine chequered grip in original finish.
